El Paso, September 2003

The plan here was to go to El Paso to see Sensee N. Taana and her fabulous husband Kenneth Gilmour Nicol. Festivities included watching the Bhutanese Olympic arching team compete with members the El Paso Archery Club, searching for vegetables at Taco Tote, and exploring the mysteries of the Balmorhea State Park aquatic turtles.

The Local Organizing Committee competes. Competition was not entirely fair, but this is Texas.

I come to the rescue, bringing years of tire-changing experience to the scene.
A weather-beaten US flag welcomes us to the I-10's Goodyear Tire Centre.

A uniformed crewmember searches for tires through his computerized inventory.
