From here there are quite a number of photos of the Eiffel Tower. It really is a stunning thing (and bigger than I would have thought, too). It has precisely one purpose, which is to be a tall building and get people up to the top so they can look down. There is no other purpose for its existence at all. It does this job beautifully.
