An unusually lethargic marmotte. These creatures are amazing: (a) They hibernate from about September through May, or 75% of the year; (b) When doing so, their body temp drops to 40 deg, their heart goes to 1 beat a minute, and they breathe perhaps once every 5 minutes (Gellhorn 2002). They sometimes look a little frumpy running around, but it's probably understandable given their extreme lifestyle.
