3rd Flatiron, November 2002
There was an extended eclipse of the sun predicted for November 21, 2002, beginning at 4:39 PM and continuing until 6:52 AM the next day. Apparently the moon & stars would come out and it was predicted to be as dark as night-time. Not having climbed a Flatiron during an eclipse before, we decided to make the most of it.
