Full Resolution We're getting read for the event, with just a few minutes to go. Ted preps the laptop to acquire data. The occultation proper is three seconds long, but we (and the other teams) will be recording data for a full 45 minutes. This is a good idea for a few reasons, among them being that if MU69 is surrounded by a (very) dense ring system, this might give us some chance at seeing it in occultation.
